Within the CommUnity Network, we don’t fundraise for ourselves, instead we implement a system we call Distributive Fundraising. The main difference between Distributive Fundraising and Crowdfunding is that when you donate to a crowdfunding site, you are giving your donation to a single fragmented project that is not part of any network. If you want to give to multiple project you have to give to each one individually. The site takes a huge %, and has NO intention or need to actually support the project itself to be successful.

With Distributive Fundraising we are the network and we are collectively distributing the funds through the network to ensure that the various types of projects are not only funded, but supported to be successful. Additionally for projects that obviously aren’t successful, their budgets are already part of the network and therefore can be incorporated into similar projects so that the funds are not wasted if the project fails. Additionally the donors get community Equity in the entire network and therefore if any one investment fails, you are already a part of many other possible projects and startups that can be successful. Distributive Fundraising is the ONLY way to ensure that all the most important projects, regardless of popularity, get funded and are supported for success, not just making money by the crowdfunding platform.

The basic idea is simple. That if all we ever do is fund the programs and projects that are already being funded, then we will never complete the vision of evolving humanity and transforming our society. Therefore we build in a distributive, decentralized system of fundraising and resource allocation in a way that ensure that the entire network and entire movements are funded and supported for long term growth. This is the opposite of a centralized top down strategy that is easily corruptible and has shown how ineffective it can be, as the top down centralized strategy is what has gotten us into this whole mess to begin with.

Distributive Fundraising is very easy to implement, but instead of a one step process of just giving your money and never knowing what happens to it, distributive fundraising takes at least two steps. As a donor, you simply make a normal donation, but instead of having no idea where the money goes, you then take the second step where we verify what type of project, or where you want the funds to go. If you do not, the funds will go into a general funding pool. The third step is option, which is to actually vote on the budgets and make decisions on where the funds go within the existing funding pools.

To summarize, distributive fundraising is easy. Just make a donation, and then we guarantee you that we will ask you where you want the funds, unless you tell us upfront where you want them to go.

The only other detail to mention, is that because we do very broad based distributive fundraising, we always ask for your address, employer, and occupation. This information is required for political and other types of donations and investments, but if you just want to make a standard donation, you can ignore those fields, but we have to ask for them for being able to do distributive fundraising to any type of organization within our network.
