Hey Everyone,
The CommUnity Network in collaboration with the World Collaborative for Transformative Community (WC.TC) and UnityNet is moving forward to launching CommUnity Saturdays again! Yay!
The idea is very simple. An hour here and there simply is not enough to fix the masses of global crises, we need more time to work together and support each other. Weekdays simply don’t work because everyone is busy and only has an hour here and there, mainly in the evenings. So I am proposing the idea of an entire Saturday. “A Saturday per Month Can Change the World”. Whether you are never available, or available one Saturday per month, or per quarter, any support you can give to help to transform the world to be balanced and stable is great.
The primary Session will be the Americas Session from 12n-4p PST, 3-7p EST. The session agenda will be controlled by those who show up, but we have a general schedule to help us along. Anyone can Join from Anywhere in the World via our Conference Call and Video Communications: http://wc.tc/GlobalCalls We will also be having physical space for those who can join in-person who are in the SF Bay Area, but the Conference Call lines will be the primary mode of interaction, so there is NO need to be in-person.
The first hour will be Set Up, intros, Q&A, Volunteer Training etc…
The Second Hour will be the Main CommUnity Network Session where we can talk about anything. This will also be our Supra Bouncil Meetings (1st Saturday of Month, Tomorrow Sep 3rd) where we can make decisions and have any Board or Council be an agenda item. This session will be part of our new CORE Membership which rewards double and triple Community Equity for people who are supporting the entire CommUnity Network and not just their own projects and programs. In other words our new policies will involve our Equity COOP where those who help others will be greatly rewarded with double, triple, even quadruple Community Equity™ stake in the entire Network.
The Third Hour will be our Support Sessions including LIFE Support, Legal Support, Org Support. What ever people need we are here to help each other.
The Fourth Hour is for the Umbrella Peoples Movement, which includes the Bernie Movement, Parallel Governance, and Anti-Corruption…
In addition to the America’s Session, there will also be the Pacific Session right afterwards that will focus on the Politics Coalition for non-partisan political education and Voter Empowerment system implementation. After that the Oceana Session is completely OPEN for any type of discussion or follow work. In the Mornings, if there is interest, we can make time for more Org Support, Leadership Support, and Collective Support. This would include RESET, as well as our Catalyzers Collective, Cause Collective, and the Social Intraprenures Collective etc… This can also take place some in the afternoon as well during our Support Society Alliance space, but the morning will give us more time to really dive in. Again these morning times will be a much more reserved time for specific Board Meetings, as well as other types of session, so let me know if your interested in scheduling something, cause right now only the 1st Saturday of the Month is taken up, so we have 3 more Saturdays to fill.
